Combs Family Fishing Trip Part 2 – Eagle River

It’s safe to say our week in Wisconsin is Coach’s favorite week of the year and I understand why. It’s so relaxing to stay in the cabin, go on the boat when you want, sleep in and have someone cook your dinner! This year the weather wasn’t the best. Each day was nice but scattered with rain showers or cloudy. I didn’t do the best job of taking pictures, but no worries there are still some to share!

The next few pictures were taken on the dock in Eagle River, we took the boat into town to have lunch at an old fashioned soda fountain called Soda Pops. They have every bottle of ‘pop’ (or coke if your from the South like me) that you can think of! Tater found these huge dandelion like weeds near the dock. I love her expressions!

Tater’s favorite thing to do is jump off the front of the pontoon into the water. She is fearless in fact she was jumping like this last year, well sitting and falling off the boat. I love watching her face when she jumps, it’s a combination of fear and pure excitement.

I can’t decide if the picture above or below is my favorite of this trip!

Since this blog wasn’t around last year for Tater’s first Combs Family Fishing Trip I need to share my favorite picture from last year

It’s so hard to just post one but I love this one!

It’s hard to tell by these pictures but there were 3 other people on the trip with Tater & Coach. I will do better next year!
