I’ll start with Tater’s new favorite saying, oh alright we love to make her say
“Ho Moley!”
That sums up how fast the month of June has gone by! I think we have been in our own bed less than 10 days this whole month. It all started when we left June 5th for Myrtle Beach with Matt, Jen & Izzy.

This vacation was the hardest thing to plan. Jen and I agree this was much harder than planning either of our weddings! We should have known something would go wrong when we easily picked a destination and we were all free the same week. The trouble came about 6 weeks before the vacation when BP caused an ongoing disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. They call it an “oil spill”. The word spill indicates that it was a one time accident with a certain amount of oil. As of today there has been a nonstop unmeasurable flow of oil into the Gulf of Mexico for 69 days. We struggled with switching locations worrying about the girls first trip to the beach. The final decision was made about and hour before the Holle’s were leaving. There car was packed! Literally Matt made reservations for us in Myrtle Beach, he hung up the phone and started driving! It turned out great, we had the best time and loved Myrtle Beach! There are a ton of pictures from our trip, Jen and I took thousands of pics.
She is now addicted to Photoshop, Lightroom and all things photography. Seems like every year we pick a new hobby together, wedding planning, scrapbooking, shopping for babies and now photography. I’m pretty sure the Coach and Matt became friends in middle school just so they could introduce us as adults. We became fast friends when we met over 4 years ago, but that’s a whole different post π
We should have staged a group photo but we never thought about it! That’s just another reason we need to plan a reunion trip.
Four days after we got home from Myrtle Beach we were back in the car headed up North. Vacation #2 started with a night in Indy followed by Chicago and our final destination of Eagle River, Wisconsin. This has already been a long one so I will save that for the next post! I do have to end with my favorite picture ever
